Water Polo
BEGINNER PROGRAMS
Welcome!
Our Splashball and Water Polo 101 programs are designed to introduce new athletes to the sport of water polo. Participants will strengthen their swimming skills, build endurance and learn fundamental water polo skills like ball handling and treading water. Upon completion of these programs participants will have the fundamental skills needed to join a competitive team.

AGE:
8-12 years

- swim 25 yards freestyle
- swim 25 yards backstroke
- completion of level 3 swim lesson recommended

13-17 years

- swim 50 yards freestyle
- swim 50 yards backstroke
- completion of Splashball or level 4 swim lesson recommended
COMPETITIVE TEAMS
Our competitive water polo teams participate in USA Water Polo sanctioned tournaments including the National Junior Olympics. We recommend first-time participants enroll in Splashball or Water Polo 101 prior to joining one of these teams.
